Layout Designs

Understanding through my creative journey: Using the grid system to begin laying out a design: (#1) sets a wireframe in place to help structure and balance the overall content that is being arranged within a composition (#2) assists in creating visual hierarchy that will guide the viewer's eye throughout the layout (#3) gives the flexibility to break the grid to make the composition more dynamic.

The Pitter Patter Tune Lagoon Book
[Position] :: Olive Sky Creative Space–Designer Dad [Overview] :: The Pitter Patter Tune Lagoon is a series of children's jingles I originally created to establish a way of communication with my newborn daughters. These jingles were a simple and unique way to express my thoughts and feelings towards them. At the same time, I learned this was a great way to bring entertainment and comfort to my girls. This silly way of communicating has been a part of our family bond so I thought it would be fun to create visuals to go along with our jingles and put them in a book. [Role] :: Consult (my daughters & wife), Conceptualize, Design, Preflight, and Send to Production

Each department representative (total of 7) was selected by the T.I.M.E lead (myself) and department leadership. The T.I.M.E warriors came together to create this back of the house communication board.
